Hi y’all! It’s been a while since my last update so I just wanted to add some new information. Unfortunately, I’ve been trying really hard keep a happy face on social media while trying to navigate the difficulty of whether I will need to close my business for the foreseeable future. With the new tariff law that is set to be in effect in May, those changes are going to severely crippled my ability to continue operating. If the new tariff law goes into effect permanently on May 2, 2025, I will not be able to keep my business open as I can’t imagine raising my prices by 125%, I just don’t believe that is fair to my customers nor is it sustainable. All products will be out of stock, but! I will restock if the new tariff law does not go into effect.

I want to just say thank you so so so much to everyone who supported me during this journey, I’m hopeful and trying to stay positive during this time because it has really affected my mental health and finances after going through a tough divorce with someone who was also my business partner. This isn’t a side hobby or hustle, I believed in myself and business and committed to becoming a full-time entrepreneur 9 years ago.

In May of this year, it will be 9 years since Triple O Polish opened! I can’t believe I’ve been an entrepreneur for almost a decade! I’m also turning 40 in May 🎉 so there are a couple things I can look forward to that will bring a little bit of happiness my way.

Any funds received through GoFundMe (LINKED HERE) will be used to ensure that I can ship out the last batch of orders I received and don’t fall into further debt by paying off several business loans I’ve been struggling to keep up with monthly, and essentially just try to break even. At this point in the journey, trying to obtain a profit isn’t even an option unfortunately.

I wish I had better news to share, but it looks like I’ll have to pivot and try something different, I’ll definitely be sharing my history videos still and continue the journey of sharing World history, Black history, and African history.
